A question for the masses:
At what point does an object shift from its primary intended purpose and become a cat toy?
For example, today I was working on a side project of classifying the reflective properties of all surfaces on the ship by shining my laser pointer off them and trying to burn the retinas of unlucky passerbyers. i.e. the laser pointer is a wonderful light source because of many different properties of it that I'm sure some people who are definitely not me because light sources give me cooties, croon and masturbate over late at night. But the laser pointer also makes a wonderful cat toy because I had about ten of them later looking back and forth and back and forth on the wall, at this little red dot of a certain wavelength of visible light.
So, hypothetically, if I happened to leave my collection of laser pointers, because a good person has more than one and definitely has them in all colours of the rainbow, in Yukimura Seiichi's room when he gets back, do they count as cat toys?
